Hi Darnelle,

I've bought several of the Pearl's books and enjoyed them. I read the To Train Up a Child series when my oldest was in first grade and we were homeschooling. I mainly wanted to know how to homeschool and what the Pearls did to help their children grow up so well.

I also enjoyed Rebekah Pearl's book about her mission work in New Guinea, From the End of the Earth. I admired her writing, and I also think her book is wonderful for single women. Rebekah used her single years to explore the world and help others (instead of pining away in her hometown waiting for Mr. Right). Since I also went abroad in my early 20s, I loved reading her story.

I admire this family and consider them mentors in my parenting journey.

Pardon the error . . . "read the Pearls' . . ."
It's 1 am. Time to shut down the computer when punctuation is a challenge :)

Hi,
Stumbled onto your site from "Writer...Interrupted" and noticed your quote from Michael Pearl. I thought I was the only blogger who read the Pearls amazing writing. What have you read so far besides the monthly mag?
