my blogging has way tapered off, too. But i was looking through our old emails – from april of 2006!!! and you were SO encouraging to me as a writer. Wow, I went online late tonight to check some details for the BRCW conference schedule and read about a conference where lots of women were socializing and having a grand time. Among the lists and print in a column, I noticed your name because I have a cousin named Ivester! It’s not a name often seen, not in NC anyway. Are you related to anyone in Florida?

As it turned out, I clicked on your site, read a ton of blogs–which were great to read, and read the interview you did with Vonda Skelton, my beloved mentor! I loved her latest book, “Seeing Through the Lies,” (my review is on Amazon.com), and enjoyed the dialogue you posted here.

Anyway, I found your blog and site encouraging, informative, and invigorating to me as a Christian writer. Keep at it with your craft and I hope we meet up at a conference in the near future.
